Street Closures for March 12

Please be advised that there are street closures near Walden Theatre for Saturday, March 12 that could adversely affect your trip to or from the Improv classes in the morning.

As ever, you can view street closings and issues by visiting the City of Louisville Public Works website.

The Rodes City Run and the St. Patrick’s Day Parade will close the following streets for the times indicated:

RODES CITY RUN
The following streets will be closed during the following times: 

6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Broadway from Fifth Street to Third Street

6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Witherspoon Street from Preston Street to Bingham Way

7:45 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Broadway from Third Street to Baxter Avenue

8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Baxter Avenue from Rubel Avenue to Breckinridge Street

8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Cherokee Road from Baxter Avenue to Grinstead Drive
Grinstead Drive from Cherokee Road to Cherokee Parkway

8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Lexington Road from Etley Drive to Liberty Street
Liberty Street from Lexington Road to Baxter Avenue

8:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m
Baxter Avenue from Liberty Street to Main Street

8:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m
Main Street from Baxter Avenue to Preston Street
Preston Street from Main Street to Witherspoon Street

Bardstown Road from Highland Avenue to Longest Avenue

No parking:
11 a.m.- 5 p.m.
Broadway from Barret Avenue to Baxter Avenue
Baxter Avenue from Rogers Street to Broadway

Noon-5 p.m.
Baxter Avenue from Broadway to Morton Avenue
Bardstown Road from Broadway to Highland Avenue

Noon-7:30 p.m.
Baxter Avenue from Morton Avenue to Highland Avenue
