Anon(ymous) Opens September 15

Walden Theatre’s 2011-2012 Season kicks off with the play Anon(ymous), a daring update of Homer’s epic the Odyssey by accomplished contemporary playwright Naomi Iizuka and directed by Julane Havens. In the play, an intrepid young refugee going by the name Anon sets off across the frayed and fractured margins of the American experience in search of his mother. Anon’s memories of his homeland, a vague place of terror and blood, offer an alarming but instructive backdrop to his encounters with other people struggling for a foothold in the land of opportunity.
