Oresteia Final Weekend

The final performances of Oresteia by Aeschylus and directed/adapted by Julane Havens are Thursday through Saturday (Oct 18-20). Don’t miss this fantastic piece of Classical Greek Theatre. Don’t miss the cycle of bloody retribution. Don’t miss the shining example of justice issued by the gods.

Please note, if you’re planning to attend the Friday (Oct 19) performance, there will be street closures to contend with. Payne Street will be closed from 6ish to 8 between Cooper and Lexington. That leaves the short bit of Payne between Baxter and Cooper right in front of us open, but traffic congestion could be a problem.  Furthermore, Lexington will be closed from Baxter Ave to Etley Ave. (the street right before Grinstead) during the same hours. All traffic to Walden Theatre will have to route via Baxter Avenue.
