1001 Nights at Walden Theatre all summer!

As we head into the summer, Walden Theatre is presenting public performances all season of the all-ages play 1001 Nights by Diana Grisanti. The play is produced by Walden Theatre professional theatre staff, complete with lights, costumes, and even a song-and-dance number. But the performers are all 8-14 year olds participating in Walden Theatre’s three-week long Summer Academy acting camp.


The shows are the culmination of the camp’s acting intensive where kids learn the essentials of performing in a play. Each year these camps and the public performances have grown in popularity, and shows typically sell out. Here’s the vital information about all of this summer’s performances:

The play is suitable for all ages. Past summer performances at Walden Theatre included The SeussOdyssey, Law & Order: Fairy Tale Unit, and Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
